Is is so hard to believe that my sweet friend’s baby is growing up so fast! If you’ve been following my blog then you know that her hubby deployed while she was pregnant and I’ve been taking pictures along the journey for them. Since I’ve taken up photography I’ve been experimenting with it in some fun ways! I love Bryan Peterson’s books and in one of them I read about how he used Macro Photography to take pictures of water and oil, I just had to try it out! It’s really super simple and can easily be changed by using different backgrounds. I want to do this again after we get settled in Germany.

Recently my grandpa passed away, it’s bittersweet because now he’s no longer in pain & healed, and I believe with my grandma who passed a few years before him. For my mom’s family it means the beginning of an end, the property and home that they have lived in since children will now be leaving the family. Remember awhile back when I did a Maternity Deployment photo shoot for my sweet friend? Well a few weeks ago I got the opportunity to again visit them and take photos of sweet baby B.

On Friday I had the opportunity to do a photo shoot with a friend and her sweet girls. She’s 34 weeks pregnant and her husband just deployed 3 weeks ago. He won’t be home until the baby is 4-5 months old.
