Undley Farm Pumpkin patch is just 10 mins from RAFL and should be on your bucket list for this Fall! This farm has an amazing pumpkin patch as well as many other activities for an amazing day out. Food booths, craft booth, face panting, balloons, maze, inflatables, magic show, and pick your own pumpkins will keep you busy!
They are currently open for this season! We went last weekend and had a blast! It’s hands down the best pumpkin patch we’ve been to so far worldwide. The huge variety in the fields of pumpkins and gourds is amazing! We spent at least an hour heading out to the furthest of the fields and finding our perfect ones to bring home. Open in Oct 2019 on the weekends – Sat & Sun from 10 am – 5 pm as well as well as half term week Monday Oct 21st through Friday Oct 25th, plus that last weekend of the 26th & 27th.
We love using Waze here, if you put in Undley Farm it’ll take you right to the parking area. The parking area is in a large grassy area, so it can be a bit wet/muddy depending on our weather that weekend. Rain boots or shoes you don’t mind getting dirty are ideal for walking out in the fields. While we tried to avoid the most of the mud we did still get some on our shoes on a ‘dry’ day here.
Our main purpose for the visit was to check out the food and pick our own pumpkins, and we were not disappointed! We had pumpkin soup, brats, wood fired pizza, pumpkin bread, and donuts!
There was a great variety of food and the prices were great. The pumpkin soup was £2.50 and the pizza was £6, bottled water for £1. You can find all the prices listed here.
If you have littles there is lots for them to do! They can jump in the inflatables, climb the hay bales (free), ride donkeys, watch pumpkin carvings (free), wander through the maze, and see a magic show. There is fee for the other attractions, inflatables are £2 for 5 minutes, donkey rides for £2.50, etc. They have all the attraction prices listed HERE and even offer family passes for some of the attractions.
In the craft booth you can find some cute home decor items, all halloween and fall themed. There is also face painting, balloons, pumpkin carving demo, and some yummy chocolate treats.
When you head out to the pumpkin patch make sure to grab a free wheelbarrow to haul back your goods, we managed to load up 14 pumpkins/gourds on our visit!
One of the best things about the pumpkin patch is how reasonable the prices are! Pumpkins range in size from £1-£6 for the largest pumpkin you can find. Gourds are 50p-£1 to the largest gourd you can find. Our 11 gourds and 3 pumpkins cost £23, which is way less than any pumpkin patch in the US!
The fields are enormous and the variety is so exciting! We were thrilled to wander through patch looking for just the right ones to bring home with us.
My favorites were the blue pumpkins! I’ve never seen those before! We also had to get a huge white pumpkin along with a traditional large orange one.
The gourds had us laughing with all the sizes, colors, and shapes. It was so much fun picking out the perfect ones. It’s also a great spot for snapping some great fall photos. I’m so excited to have fall this year and was super excited to take some pics of us in the pumpkin patch.
After you find your goodies you head back to the covered tent just at the entrance to pay for them. Then you can use the wheelbarrow to get them all out to your car as well. Which is much needed as there is no way I wanted to carry 14 of them out to the car!
Overall we had a fantastic afternoon at Undley Farm Pumpkin Patch! Even our teen told us she enjoyed it even though she thought it would be lame, LOL!! So that right there is a win 😉 I hope you get out there to check it out! We’ll be back to visit again next year for sure!
