March is busier month here in Germany because of the Easter Markets! March Things To Do Around Spangdahlem has some interesting things to go see. Not sure how we didn’t know about the Easter Markets last year but we had just moved into our house after a 3 month stay at the Wiedenhof so I do remember hunkering down getting our stuff settled. Last month we were playing catch up from our visits to Rome & Italy so we did not hit any of the February events. Again these are generally no more than 3 hours away, although I may throw in one or two further away ones if I think that they are something to consider.
There are Things To Do for everyone! Some include Easter Markets, Teddy Bears, Snowman on Fire, & more! There has got to be one that you will find interesting and want to check out!
I’ve also included a printable file at the bottom so that you can print it out and easily see what is going on. Some of the events are this weekend so if you don’t get to them this year you can always add them to your list for next year. I’ll also be blogging about the ones that we get to visit so check back and see if they are worth taking a trip to.
Below is a list of upcoming Things To Do, please note many of the websites are in German only so use Google Chrome and it will translate the page for you. It will include the festival, website, dates, and how far from Spangdahlem. Also note these are some of the bigger events, many villages are doing something for Easter or Oster but I can’t list them all.

Have not been before but going to try this year. We are hoping to stay at Kelley Bks and see some different castles on the same trip.
Thanks for sharing the info!
We went and checked out the Speicher Easter Market…it was not really an Easter Market but a flea market. The only thing Easter about it was the Easter bunny walking around handing out eggs and 2 vendors selling Easter decor, so was disappointed on the Easter Market front but scored some great find at the flea market.
I was also disappointed in the Speicher Easter Market. We only went because it was literally right outside our front door. I will be checking out others to see if any of them are any better.
I agree about the Easter Market aspect however we loved the flea market and scored some amazing finds, pics on the FB page 🙂
