Scavenger Hunt Adventures is a great series I’m excited to share with you! It currently includes; Mission Paris, Mission Barcelona, Mission Rome and just released is Mission London & Mission Washington D.C.! These are must haves when traveling with kids. I’m also excited that the author, Catherine Aragon, is a fellow military spouse!
The books are available both in print & digital forms. The digital forms (e-book) include Kindle, B&N Nook, & iPad. I love that it’s offered in multiple forms but I’m a book in hand kinda gal so I prefer the print versions. If your a fan of e-books you can score them for a great price at Amazon, in case you can’t wait to see if you won a copy 😉
So what is the Scavenger Hunt Adventure series all about?
The Scavenger Hunt Adventures series takes young travelers through the famous sights of cities, engaging them with exciting scavenger hunt activities as you explore famous landmarks together.
Say “adiós/au revoir/arrivederci/good-bye” to trips filled with the stress of keeping everyone entertained. Instead, say “hola/ bonjour/buongiorno/hello” to memorable vacations, with your kids excited to explore the sights with you!
The “missions” ensure fun trips for everyone with captivating, spy-theme scavenger hunts packed with fun activities and the fascinating stories behind city landmarks.
The series currently includes MISSION LONDON, MISSION PARIS, MISSION BARCELONA, MISSION ROME, and MISSION WASHINGTON, D.C., with New York coming in late February along with Amsterdam and Florence later this spring.
We got a chance to use Mission Rome, which I purchased from Amazon after I had the chance to review Mission Rome, in January and we loved it! Bea, who is 11, loved reading all the information and hunting for the clues at each location. Boo, our 18 year old, who was home from college even got in on the fun and helped Bea locate them all to score the most points.
I even read the book before we headed to Rome and I found all kinds of great information that I didn’t know so don’t think this is just for kids, it could also be used for couples as well who want to play along 😉
Here is an example of what a Mission in London would look like:
Or a Mission to Washington D.C.:
Best of all 5 lucky readers will win a book of their choice! The digital versions are available on Kindle, B&N Nook, and iPad. The giveaway will run for a week, at the end of the week the winners will be randomly chosen via Raffelcopter. There are several ways to get entries each day as well 🙂
