Thomas Philips is a great find here in Bitburg, Germany for shopping! A friend described it to me as ‘like a Ross but a more unorganized’ LOL! I agree it is like a Ross with lower cost items and without the clothing. They have a few items like socks, leggings, but generally not much clothing.
When you first enter you walk into what I call the Household good section. Here you’ll find glasses, kitchen stuff, as well as party stuff like napkins, cups, cupcake liners, ect. They even have the mini cupcake liners.
Huge drinking straws? Yep, they have those!
You can even get a chocolate fondue pot here for €19,98.
Towards the back you’ll see a small section of sewing stuff, blankets, baskets, containers, and more.
When you enter the next area there will be things like shampoo, soaps, etc to the right. They also have a nice selection of ‘fun’ bandaids as well.
On the left you’ll find tools and toys.
Further down on the right you’ll find canvas, which are super cheap here! You can get huge ones for €19,95. You’ll also find a selection of candles and home decor.
These huge ones are €19,95 or less, which is a great deal.
On the left is pet stuff, and storage stuff.
There is a decent sized gardening/outdoor section and a smaller food/drink selection for non-perishable items.
They have a decent office supply area where I buy scissors for cheap and other random office items. They also have some party items such as favors and decor although the selection is limited.
If you haven’t been to Thomas Phillips yet you need to check it out, I’m sure you’ll find something you just ‘have to have’ while in there, I always do! It’s also a great store for picking up some little things to throw into care packages for friends & family in the States.
This has been one of my favorite stores I’ve found since I’ve been here, if you shop here what do you go there for?
