Barafoss aka The Children’s Falls was an interesting site. It’s a neat waterfall that also has water along the sides that pours from the lava rocks. It also has a tragic story attached to it which is off the Baranfoss sign below:

Icelandic lava tubes are a neat natural phenomenum. You can find more info about lava tubes here.
They are caves that have been made from past volcanic eruptions, as you can imagine there are MANY throughout Iceland. They vary in size (as you’ll see in a later post, one is ginormous!) and make for great stops on day trips to check out.
