We were looking forward to trying out one of the breakfast places in the local area, after going some ‘research’ online we decided on The Pancake Pantry on the Parkway in Gatlingburg, TN. And yes, I do research even the places we are going to eat at sometimes ;p It was about 3/4 mile walk from the hotel that you should NOT stay in.

As you may have heard, weather in the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area is super unpredictable! When we went to bed the night before Dollywood we thought we might not get to go because there was a 90% chance of rain. When we woke up at 3 am by Mr. B getting stung by a wasp, we checked and it was down to 40%. We we got up at 6 am to decide it was down to 20%, so we decided to go and risk it. Our stay at the Quality Inn Creekside in Gatlinburg, TN was LESS than ideal…so much so that we checked out the next morning and stayed somewhere else! The sad part is I used another blogger’s review to decide to stay here, guess we had a completely different experience than they did!
