We have all kinds of money from our travels all over the world and I needed a way to display it. Not too long ago I seen a pin where someone had made some peso magnetic to display. I knew I could do this and use my new DIY Magnetic Board Photo Frame I just made!
I bought some small square magnets that already had a sticky back on them, I wasn’t sure if it would hold so I also had some other magnets to hot glue on if needed. What I found was that the sticky magnets work great, and the hot glue does not hold the magnets on well. The pin I’d seen on Pinterest said she’d hot glued them but I think I’d get annoyed with them because they’d keep breaking off. So I stuck with the pre-made sticky ones, they worked great!
This is one with the magnet stuck on the back, it was super easy, my 10 year old helped me put them on.
Here they are on the board, as you can see we have ALL kinds!
Euro Pence
Some from United Arab Emirates & Denmark
Japanese Yen
Euro
Canadian coins
Icelandic Kroner
Italian coins
I can’t wait to add more after we PCS to Germany and we get to see some new and exciting places!

I’ve been enjoying being able to display the money instead of keeping it in a drawer!
