Kelley Barracks Hotel is a great place to stay if your hanging out in the Stuttgart area. Unlike typical billeting you also get a free complimentary breakfast here! While it’s not a huge selection (more further down) it is decent and better than the none you get at most billeting 😉 Reservations can be made 7 days out for Space A by calling the Kelley Hotel.
The rooms were fairly large. Our had a living room with a pull out coach, plus a separate bedroom, and a kitchenette. Both the bedroom & living room had TVs as well. You can also request a roll away bed as well, it’s on a first come basis but we did not have problems getting one at 10 pm. Parking is available to the right of the building.
I took some photos to give you a little preview of the room:
The living room area has a pull out sofa bed, tv, coffee table, and a dining table.
Small kitchenette with microwave & small fridge.
Standard bathroom, also has vanity & sink area outside the bathroom as well, which is great for when multiple people are getting ready.
Bedroom has bed, chair with ottoman & TV, nightstands, & closet with a safe. It’s a good sized room.
Roll away bed was decent and Bea didn’t have any complaints. The staff was great with helping set it up as well.
There were some great views from the walk ways on the upper floors as they had large floor length windows on each side, made for some beautiful evening sunsets.
The free breakfast is in a room near the lobby, if facing the front desk you’d make a left and then it’s a few doors down on the right. It has different hours for weekends & weekends so make sure you check for your stay. They had boiled eggs, cereal, coffee, juice, milk, bagels, fruit cups, oatmeal, & fruit. A free simple breakfast. There is also vending machines in the room with toiletries that you may have forgotten at home.
The front counter also has menus for a local restaurant that has a variety of food, please note that this is NOT a sit in restaurant…we made that mistake 😉 They do also deliver to Kelley Barracks as well.
Also know that the gas station on Kelley has crazy hours, the one on Patch is open 24/7, so you may need to head there if you need gas before 9 am. It also closes early as well. Patch Barracks is about 12-15 minute drive from Kelley Barracks.
We enjoyed our stay here and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again if traveling in the area.
Have you stayed here, what did you think?!
