Ladder Beach is a must see while in Saipan! This beautiful beach offers amazing views and tons of sea glass! We found more sea glass on this one beach than we have our whole time in Guam.
You will need a rental car to get out to this location, as it’s a bit off the beaten path, but it was one of favorite locations. You can see my Saipan 3 Day Itinerary HERE Our rental car for 4 days was only $138 and it only cost $21 to fill it back up before returning and we drove all over the whole island a lot!
There is a parking in a grassy/gravel area. Near the parking area is a vendor that sells some snacks & drinks. No restrooms on site.
There are some stairs down to the beach area but we found them easily walkable both up & down. It’s much easier walking down them than back up, LOL! But it’s really not horrible.
There is a rocky area to the right that you can climb around on but the rocks are sharp & slippery so be cautious.
There is a small cave area to the left, it’s not very deep but one of the limited sources of shade too!
We had the best time just strolling back & forth along the beach line finding all the sea glass. There was so much! We found lots of colors of sea glass too.
The beach is rocky vs sandy so it’s a bit tougher to walk shoeless here.
We did not plan to swim here, I believe the currents can be strong and there are no lifeguards so not something I’d recommend. There were some locals out fishing so it must be a good spot for them.
