Megabus.com has combined two of my favorite things this month, support for Veterans and Travel!
I’m excited to share that during the month of May Megabus has rolled out a camouflaged bus for the first time ever to travel across the US to honor Military Veterans! In addition for every passenger who rides the camouflaged bus during May they are donating $1 to Folds of Honor up to $5,000. This money will be used to provide a scholarship to a spouse or child of a fallen or wounded service member. So this month using Megabus you not only get to travel but give back to our Veterans as well!
The bus looks fantastic, as you can see from the photos. They camo wrapped a bus to show support for the fallen and disabled military heroes and their families. Megabus.com has also donated almost $100,000 to help military families. Perfect timing with Memorial day this month to see a camouflaged bus rolling down the streets! They use an express bus service across more than 100 cities in the US. So get out and see if you can spot the camouflage bus and take a ride.
I know many of us military families like to use Space A to fly from locations for free (or dirt cheap!) but once you land you often need to figure out transportation, using a bus service like Megabus.com can help you find a reliable and cheap ride to your next destination. I know one of my friends recently did just this and had a great experience, it’s a great way to travel cheaply from point A to point B.
Megabus launched in April 2006 and now services more than 120 major cities using 23 hubs. They have had over 50 million passengers to date! They also have the highest safety rating from the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration and are approved by the Transportation Safety exchange. I’m a big researcher, as you my readers know, so that makes me comfortable considering using them when we travel in the US.
If your looking for some great travel deals check out Megabus.com, or follow them on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram!
I’d love to hear if you’ve seen or rode the camouflaged bus this month!
