World Champion Spartan Race + Giveaway!

 

I’m so excited to tell you about the World Champion Spartan Race that will be airing Dec. 7th on NBC Sports! I recently ran a local Mud Run and that event was so much fun that we want to run a Spartan Race here in Europe in the near future.

Wanna know a secret? I run (sometimes, haven’t ran in over a month…) but I really don’t ‘like’ it. I run because I like the benefits to my body & mental state 😉 When I say run I’m talking about 2-3.1 miles at the most. I never thought I’d be able to run a Spartan Race BUT this past experience with the local mud run changed my mind. I was way out of shape & underprepared and it was tough, exhausting, and at times I thought ‘who’s dumb idea was this?!’ (It was mine) but it was one of the more rewarding things I’ve ever done! My kids were there to follow along and recored/photograph the whole thing and I hope they take away from it that your never too told to try something new and adventurous. Now on my ‘bucket list’ is a Spartan Run, I know I’ll have to train some but a little working out never hurt anyone 😉 I just wish my friend who was awesome enough to run with me in AL would be here to run with me in Europe.  So if you think you can’t run one, think again, because if I can anyone can!

I’m so excited to watch it, I just hope we can stream it here in Germany! This will be way better than then endless hours of Spartan Races I’ve been watching on Youtube that people have posted.
