Icelandic lava tubes are a neat natural phenomenum. You can find more info about lava tubes here.
They are caves that have been made from past volcanic eruptions, as you can imagine there are MANY throughout Iceland. They vary in size (as you’ll see in a later post, one is ginormous!) and make for great stops on day trips to check out.

The Blue Lagoon is a neat place to visit and was really close to the base. People from all over the world fly to Keflavik, Iceland to visit the Blue Lagoon
The Blue Lagoon us said to have special healing powers in its waters and mud treatments that are great for skin conditions such as psoriasis.
It’s a great place to go and relax and is especially nice when it’s snowing outside!
