Charles Bridge in Prague, Czech Republic is a must see for those who are visiting. It’s best to visit it both during the day and at night as you get some great views of it lit up at night. The bridge which is lined with Czech Saints it crosses the Vltava river and connects Old Town and Little Quarter. It’s one of the best places to get some amazing views of Prague as well as the castle!

Monschau, Germany is a cute little village in Germany that has many neat things such as glass blowing, a castle, mustard mill, sand sculptures, brewery, & more! It’s also very charming with it’s half timbered houses, you can get a great overview from the castle area. It’s 1 hour 10 mins from Spangdahlem, and 2 hours 9 mins from Ramstein. A great little village to visit for a day trip!

Dynamikum Science Center in Pirmasens, Germany is a fun way to spend a few hours exploring as a family! This science center is full of 160 hands on exhibits and attractions, two floors of fun including 2 slides back down to the first floor! Geierlay Hängeseilbrücke in Mörsdorf, Germany is the longest rope suspension bridge in Germany! It just opened in Oct. 2015 and is only a 1 hour and 10 minute drive from Spang but can easily be added as part of a day trip to Cochem because it’s only 25 mins from there. Cidre Farms in the Normandy, France region are one of the area’s best kept secrets. These hidden gems will take you a little mini adventures where you’ll be rewarded with locally made cidre, an apple wine, or fresh apple juice! They also have pear wine and Calvados.
