Burg Frankenstein is located near Darmstadt, Germany and when I found out that we’d be within 30 minutes if it while we were in Wiesbaden I knew we had to check it out. Recently we had to take a trip to Trier to run some errands and of course we couldn’t do so without checking out a cafe in the area. I check our trusty ole Panther Paws and found Cafe Weimer, so we decided to give it a try.

Widenhof Palace – Moving out! If you remember we moved into the Wiedenhof Place in Speicher back in December of 2013. Now 3 months later we have finally moved out and into our ‘German’ home for the next 3 years. I said that I’d update about moving out and what our stay was like so I’m going to do just that 🙂

Recently we stayed at a hotel near the town of Schwabach Germany – what they call The Goldsmith Town. I decided that since we were in the area we had to check it out. This is not one the the towns that you’ll find in the big travel books but it has some unique features that make it worth a quick visit.
