I’ve finally made it to my FINAL post about our TN trip, and what a great place to end…at our final fun stop before we headed home!

After our horrible night’s stay here, at 3 am we found SpringHills Suites by Marriott online and thankfully they had a vacancy for the next night (actually that night since it was 3 am…) but since it was so last minute we also had to paid last minute prices, $139 for the night. This was the going rate for hotels in the area as well, but higher than what we are used to paying.

We had been told by a friend that we needed to go eat at the Applewood Farmhouse Restaurant while we were in Pigeon Forge, TN. We are always up for trying out some good eats so after checking into our new and much improved hotel we headed over to check it out.

As you may have heard, weather in the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area is super unpredictable! When we went to bed the night before Dollywood we thought we might not get to go because there was a 90% chance of rain. When we woke up at 3 am by Mr. B getting stung by a wasp, we checked and it was down to 40%. We we got up at 6 am to decide it was down to 20%, so we decided to go and risk it.
